Should you propose on the first date?

While I agree that in most cases, you should get to know your partner better before proposing…I do think it’s okay to elope if it’s right.

In either case, whether you elope or whether you court for an extended period of time, you have to connect on the right level and build trust and a relationship before you propose or you will be shot down and even if you do get married, the marriage won’t last.
