Deals come in steadily and not in a lumpy fashion. We got one over the weekend…not bad…love when that happens. The hard work – building a pipeline and working it intelligently – will lead to a steady stream of business. As soon as you take a break, the pipeline get less predictable….Sales is not a game for lazy people folks. It’s discipline and hard work that wins in the end.
Good luck for a productive week of selling. Only 2 weeks to go this month. I don’t know about you, but we are having another great month so we need to keep pushing now and not get complacent.
Push, push , push…
Brick
brick 100% agree with you on building pipe i spend a good 80-90% of my day on this. disagree that deals come in a steady stream for whatever reason they close when they close key is to close enough biz that over time it evens out
thanks nathan….well it’s never a perfectly even profile, but the more you have in your pipeline the more even the closing profile. the problem i see with most sales organizations is there is a spike in activity and then a drop off because there isnt enough time or resources spent on prospecting. we are using an inside sales effort along with a marketing machine and that is leading to a steady supply of opportunities.
