When it comes right down to it, great salespeople know how to close.
There are loads of good product pushers, demo masters, polite communicators, text book salespeople…but as they say “Coffee is for Closers”. Some people say, if you do your job they buy and you don’t have to sell. Do you really believe that? I don’t. Here is the truth – most of your prospects can survive without your service. Yeah, it’s true…so it’s up to you to create value and a reason to invest in your service.
When you have your prospect fully engaged and have activated the limbic system of their brain, and the emotional connection is made, close fast!!! If you don’t…the frontal lobe takes over, the left side of the brain – the thinking side – and then who knows what will happen. The longer the time between excitement and the close, the greater the chance of the deal not closing.
Coffee is for closers so close fast and hard!

Great point. I’m going to get the 22oz framing hammer right now!
I just thought of an excited prospect on the list for follow-up next week. I’m calling in about 45 minutes.
