I had an ouch today when I discovered that I offended someone last week – of course, I had no intention of doing so.  Be careful with your words, because you can’t take them back once they leave the station….

Perception is reality and in order to be effective in business, in any role, you have to tune in carefully to your audience.  A close friend of mine used to tell me often, you have to deliver your message in a way so the other person will listen.  So true…We all forget this at times in our attempt to hustle in this hectic world.

People like to do business with people they like.  It’s not just about product and that ROI stuff we all talk about.  I guess what I am trying to say is be sensitive in your communications.
