If you have a valuable service, it will sell. Ok, so how do you connect with buyers to win business? In my opinion, nothing is more important that nailing the messaging and making sure it’s consistent and everywhere.
The right messaging will
1. Create demand with marketing and lead generation programs
2. Make it easy to convey the value proposition when you get someone on the phone
3. Consistent message builds the brand and helps with all the above
4. Sales is about a steady process so the message has to be clear and automatic to become an efficient machine
5. A clear message unites all groups and makes it much easier to onboard a new employee
It’s one of the toughest exercises to get right but it’s worth the effort because all good things will follow.
