“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”
I am not a big believer in luck, rather hard work and persistence and good things will follow. Is it luck when an existing buyer moves to a prospect or when some external factor creates an opportunity, etc…?
If you are building relationships and building the foundation properly then opportunities will surface for a variety of reasons and the same holds true in the converse. The relationship process starts with the first interaction and the key is to continue making every interaction a building block towards building a longstanding relationship. This approach will prevail in the long run over a transactional approach.
It’s a small and interconnected world we operate in so make every relationship count and you won’t have to rely on “luck”.
