I’m sure many of you have read Thomas Friedman‘s novel that lays out the tenets of the brave new world we live in.  There really are no boundaries any longer and we can tap into resources everywhere and do so with efficiencies.  That’s a beautiful thing and the result is a more competitive environment that brings out the best in people.

I have spent much of my career building and leading sales and client service operations and have done so with a virtual model.  It works if the model is built correctly with all the right levers in place to motivate all to a common goal.

Try it, and tap into the virtual world for your business or for your own interests and watch how it works.  Don’t be left behind hanging onto the old ways of doing things.  We can all leverage our time and resources now so we can achieve our goals more efficiently.

Leverage is the operative word here.
