Had a call today with a prospective client and they asked about a shorter term deal to get started.  As a business, we don’t want shorter term deals but I want their business…so what do I do?  What would you do?

I politely but firmly let the client know that a shorter term deal was not an option and moved past that quickly.  Guess what, they didn’t hang up and we kept talking about the value and we agreed to a next step.

As the seller, you have the right to set the parameters so do it with conviction.  Ski through the bumps and you will find a groomed slope ahead of you.
