My blog is all about the real world and not more theory on sales techniques. A reader asked me to share this and hope it helps shed some light on the sales profession.

Bottom line for me will always be to be genuine, build meaningful relationships, and solve problems.
Have fun.

Have an alarm. Didn’t help much last week. Your stuff disapears long before the authorities bother to come buy and find out what’s going on. Never believe an alarm salesman. ~ CT
so true, i pay adt $75/month and it’s never helped me except random false alarms!!!
Might be cheaper to drop the monitoring and let them take your stuff. Keep the insurance premiums current so you can get replacement stuff. As long as you don’t get ripped off more frequently than every 13.33 months, your $1000 deductible is paid for with the savings, and the new stuff you get is probably cooler than your old stuff anyway.
Besides, the alarm can likely be activated without requiring a monitoring service. Just keep the sign in the yard. (I’ve suddenly become the anti-alarm monitoring salesgirl. – how am I doing? 🙂
Chris, you know what? I like your analysis! I may just employ it, thanks…
