Getting an opportunity to present your solution is the biggest hurdle in the sales process so when you get your chance to bat, make it count because you may not get another chance at the plate.
I was listening in on a sales call yesterday and the prospective client referenced a webex that did not go well…fortunately, this particular prospect is still open to another meeting based on another relationship but otherwise, the opportunity may have been lost based on the presentation.
So, the morale of the story is – get to the batting cages and work on your swing so you can improve your batting average.
