We won
We played our hand correctly and the buyer caved and met our terms. It’s so easy to fold when you want/need that deal but a lack of discipline is a bad long term strategy. You don’t want every client, trust me. You want clients at the right price that will help build long term value.
How many times have you folded too early?

Closed a deal today that took some poker playing. Offered great terms and are effectively buying out their thomson contract. Last week my guy emailed me and asked for quarterly payments. I replied “no”. He came back and said what about paying every 6 mnth “keep the boss happy.”. I replied saying if I were the boss I’d be ecstatic to be getting a premium product for such a great price and proceeded to list out the concessions we had made to make the deal possible for them. Signed the contract in their offices this am out on the deck looking out over sydney harbour! I love this country
Great job Nathan. You held strong and that takes confidence. Good for you!
