If you have to use a script then you need to invest more time understanding your business!
How do you feel when the phone rings at dinner time only to be greeted by a pause and then a robotic voice on the other end of the phone reading off a script? Would you buy something from someone like this? Do you even listen?
I think you get my point so why would anyone ever use a script in a business to business setting? The business world is dynamic and unpredictable so know your stuff and be prepared to walk into any meeting ready to handle anything or you will find yourself in trouble.
No one likes to do business with a robot. Enough said….
