If you want to have a great business, build a machine that methodically generates products and business.
Businesses based on individual superstars have a short shelf life and they are only as good as the superstar. It’s the same with sports. You know why the Celtics beat the Cavs and will most likely beat the Magic? Because both of those teams depend on superstars and Lebron didn’t perform and Superman is more like mighty mouse this series…On the other hand, the Celtics are playing amazing team basketball and that wins. The big 3 are getting old and they have a young point guard (who happens to be fabulous…) and they don’t have a Lebron…. but they are a well oiled machine and they execute consistently.
Business, sales, sports….it’s all the same thing. Great teams win more than poor or mediocre teams with a couple superstars.
Go Celts!

A great and relevant comparison.
I’m a big fan of sporting analogies as most people can relate to them in some way.
Go Celtics!
