Salespeople are a lot like athletes and maybe that’s why I like building and coaching a salesteam.

I often have people tell me and empathize with me about my job and the challenges of dealing with these personalities.  I love it and that’s what I find interesting and rewarding.  I think it’s too late to be another John Wooden or Bobby Knight or Jim Calhoun…so I guess I’ll have to stick with business.

Coaching is just fun stuff!  As a coach you have the privelege of teaching and helping others succeed and there is nothing more rewarding than bringing out the best in people.  Sure, it’s a tough job but the wins make everything worthwhile.

I love to win but I know very well that I need a great team to do so and stay a winner.
