Wow, it never ceases to amaze me how consumer businesses are allowed to avoid human interaction. For some reason, my data usage went through the roof this month and I just wanted to speak with someone to find out why. I can’t tell you how many links, screens, etc…I clicked on and tried desperately trying to locate a human being who I could speak to!
I mean, after all, they do have a message that ostensibly should allow this, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure it out. What’s wrong with this picture?
I appreciate the use of technology to save money, become efficient, but come on folks! Is this good customer service?

It’s the new business model….House of Lies.
They don’t want to talk to you, nor do they care if you leave them for someone else. They are counting on the other guys being just as bad and know they will see you again. Big stupid companies. You should probably buy their stock.
Thanks Chris. I think it’s more about the law of numbers than lies…when you look at this from 10,000 feet it’s more cost effective to piss a certain % off than to staff properly to provide what we would like.
